We have seen another successful year with
tenant occupancy at 97%
UMIC continues to work with its tenants to
provide the high levels of service expected.
The new events programme incorporating
UMIC tenants has been a great success.
Tenants have been taking advantage of
Health and Safety training offered by UMIC
in conjunction with the University.
UMIC hosted its first MacMillan coffee
morning and we managed to help raise
over £500 for a very worthy cause. We are
looking to work with local charities over the
next year and hope to be able to provide
some support by way of offering access to
free meeting rooms.
We are committed to reducing our carbon
footprint further and we have several new
initiatives planned including installing a
combined Heat and Power unit.
UMIC are looking towards a schedule of
works to update the Arches, this has started
with the replacement of the kitchen area in
one of the units and a view to update the
remaining units.
Tenants within the arches continue to thrive
and we are seeing increasing interest in
this space.
Greenlight Computers plan to move into a
bigger space within the Arches in December
and we hope to see them continue to grow.
