September UMIC Core Training: Fire Safety Awareness Part 1, an online course for everyone to complete in their own time. Tenants are encouraged to increase their awareness across the venue and within their immediate teams. Tailored for tenants who are appointed as wardens so they understand and can adhere to key legal policies and procedures. Key dates: TBC, Dalton Room For Halloween UMIC Events & UMIP present The Great Pumpkin Carve Off From its humble beginnings, the annual Great Pumpkin Carve Off will now be taking place in the Core Technology Facility's largest space, the Atrium. Whether it's a scary face, a work of art or a carving of a famous celebrity, all tenants are invited to show off their skills. The Atrium will be open from 9am for people to drop off their pumpkins with judging taking place at 15.30. Categories: Most original, Most detailed, Scariest and Ugliest! Lights refreshments and nibbles will be provided from 15.00 with winners and prizes announced at 16.00. Entry is FREE and all children and costumes are welcome!
