encourage and inspire campus based
innovators to become entrepreneurs
of the future.
INNOVATION
OPTIMISER
Our Ignition activity focuses on raising awareness and
providing support for early stage entrepreneurs to test the
feasibility of an idea. Following the success of last year's call
for the next generation of entrepreneurs with innovative
business ideas, we are pleased to announce that we granted
19 Ignition awards allocating over £28,000 across the
University. These ideas ranged from using new software
technology for low cost production of a free-to-view
online animated children's cartoon series, through to the
development of an intervention for children with autism. We
look forward to monitoring the progress of these ideas as
they develop further.
IGNITION
The 2017/18 AMBS Ignition opportunity seeking early stage ideas from
individuals working or studying in AMBS is now open. If you have an
idea for an innovative solution to a business, societal, or environmental
problem we want to give you the chance to road test your ideas. The
closing date for this opportunity is Friday 20th January 2018.
