Since the company's launch in May 2016, the
Graphene Enabled team has been busy building
the businesses capability and working towards
its mission of creating spin-outs based on the
University's Graphene patent portfolio and
scientific know-how.
University's blindness
therapy comes a step closer
following landmark licensing
deal with US firm
The agreement will see Seattle-based company
Acucela Inc. commercialise technology
developed by researchers at the University that
has the potential to partially restore vision in
people who are blind from degenerative retinal
conditions such as Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP).
