UMIC's Conferencing and Events
facilities are in the heart of
Manchester's vibrant academic
and business community within
the Core Technology Facility
(CTF), an environment in which
ideas spark and innovation and
enterprise meet.
Our meeting rooms are
dedicated spaces for busy people
to think, discuss and plan, work
through agendas, achieve
results, innovate and burst into
action. All of our purpose-built
rooms are fully-equipped for
professional presentations with
a data projector, flipchart and
free Wi-Fi access included
as standard.
Over the last year we have
welcomed a wide range of
clients to the CTF including: BP,
the Faculty of Medical and
Human Sciences, the School of
Dentistry, Manchester Science
Park, Gelexir Healthcare,
Johnson and Johnson and the
Business Growth Hub to name
but a few.
As well as serving the external
business community, the CTF is
also growing in popularity as a
venue for University
departmental away-days and
workshops, with organisers
highlighting the location as
ideal for their events and
offering all the benefits of being
away from the workplace while
still being within easy reach of
the University campus.
