Child Poverty Action Group returns for the fourth year running with UMIC events In September the Child Poverty Action group ran their 2016 Welfare Rights Conference focused on the challenges facing families as the roll out of Universal Credit accelerates. 120 Delegates from all over the UK attended for what is their only major conference outside London. Organiser Sebastien Clark comments on the day and his experience of dealing with UMIC's events executive, Colin Curwen: "I've just returned to the office and I've had time to reflect on the event and the flawless efforts of you and your team which enabled us to run a really successful conference." "As someone who has to co-ordinate hundreds of training courses and events across the country each year, I can honestly say that you make my job easier than anyone so thank you again for all of your efforts on our behalf. We're very keen on returning to UMIC next year and putting a date in the calendar." We are delighted to receive such positive feedback and look forward to working with the Child Poverty Action Group again in the near future. Continued support for the Alliance Manchester Business School The relationship between UMIC and the business school continues to grow and we are really pleased to be supporting further events and courses right the way up to 2018. MBS Head of Delegate Experience, Stephanie Mullen, commented: "UMIC is perfect venue for our clients' requirements and provides fantastic flexibility that we require to successfully deliver these. We've been holding our events with UMIC for a number of years and the customer service is continuously at a high standard. We look forward to the rest of year and continuing in to 2017." The team works closely with a range of clients including MAG, BAE and Bentley to find innovative ways to apply original thinking to the challenges of the modern business world.
