NEW ARRIVALS…
We have seen another successful year with tenant occupancy at
96.5% and with occupancy set to achieve 100% in the next
financial year.
We have one new tenant set to join us in Jan 2015 and will provide
further details soon.

ON-GOING…
We are now working with Building Sustainability an energy
management company who are working with us to reduce energy
usage. Our first target is to reduce overall consumption of
electricity by 19% in 18 months with 50% of cost savings being re
invested in further energy saving measures. In monetary terms this
would mean a saving of £85,674 in the first 12 months and further
savings of £118,392 per annum thereafter. In addition to this if we
reach our reduction target we would be under the threshold for
the CRC registration scheme and this could potentially yield a
further £80,000 per annum saving.

We have seen another successful year
with tenant occupancy at almost full
capacity, plans are underway to
develop additional office space.
Savings at this point were circa £21,000 with over 100 tonnes less
of CO
2
emitted.
UMIC held its first energy reduction meeting with many tenant
companies attending.
NORTH CAMPUS
INCUBATOR (NCI)
NCI continues to thrive with occupancy at 100% and we are looking
at ways to further enhance this facility in the new financial year.
