Our Social Enterprise initiative
continues to grow from strength
to strength. In 2013/14, through
our continued partnership with
UnLtd, we have leveraged
£40,000 of matched funding to
date. Joint activity with MEC has
resulted in 38 awards being
granted and over £75,000
allocated to staff, students and
recent alumni.
Our digital accelerator facility, IQuBit, has
engaged with over 316 students and
graduates through its events for digital
entrepreneurs. Over the last two years, 9
digital student enterprises have been
assisted, 6 of which have graduated and
gone on to further their businesses.
