INNOVATION CENTRE DIVISION www.umic.co.uk NEW ARRIVALS… UMIC's successful year continues seeing another new tenant move into the Innovation Centre's Incubator Building and Core Technology Facility and the setting up of the IQuBit initiative with the help of Marie, UMIC's Contracts and Customer Liaison Executive. Recently UMIC has welcomed Premaitha Health into a laboratory within the Incubator Building. Providing simple and accurate prenatal testing, Premaitha Health is a molecular diagnostics company focused on translating innovative science into clinically useful and commercially valuable products in the field of prenatal screening. UPDATES… The last 12 months have seen many new tenants in both buildings as well as expansion from existing tenants: Cellular Therapeutics agreed terms for additional laboratory space as a result of continued success and growth. The group is a leader in the field of Cellular Therapy of Cancer having successfully provided cell products for several complex clinical trials involving: cell selection, gene therapy, expansion of patient derived cells. www.cellulartherapeutics.co.uk ALSO… Nanoco Plc continues to grow and is currently negotiating a deal to take additional space in the Core Technology Facility, making it UMIC's largest tenant.
