OUR FUNCTION
> To provide a first class service to the University in the area of intellectual
property rights.
> To raise awareness and encourage the University's research and teaching
staff by promoting and amplifying the importance and relevance of
intellectual property to them.
> To cater effectively for the appetites of those staff who wish to engage
actively in the commercialisation of intellectual property, including
arranging suitable support grant and project finance.
> To maintain and enhance a positive and wide reputation in the field of
university technology transfer through frequent successes in venturing
and licensing and, in partnership with other associated activities in the
University, improve the University's renown for its knowledge transfer
contributions to the local, regional and wider economies.
