Express Licensing is UMIP's fast-track transaction
route for non-patented "Express" IP. Express IP
covers software, healthcare tools, images and other
copyright materials as well as research reagents.

organisations, companies and individuals across
the world. To date we have licensed Express IP
assets over 1700 times.

> Click2Go is UMIP's online licensing platform,
with simple click through licences, online
payments and digital downloads
> Working closely with specialist licensing partners
like Ximbio (for research reagents) and
Oxford University Innovation (for healthcare tools).
> Negotiating bespoke deals with specific licensees
This year Express Licensing reached the
significant milestone of returning gross revenues
of over £1M in the five years since FY2013-
14, including revenues from Click2Go and
other online platforms as well as royalties from
negotiated licences.
